Maxagrid Announces New Platform to Power Customer Support And Sales Initiatives for 2001

Maxagrid, a leading provider of Revenue Management Systems and Services, will make available a new platform on the web to support the full suite of Maxagrid software solutions. This includes the new Maxagrid Enterprise, Maxagrid Mobile and Maxagrid Web-View applications debuting February 2nd at the RAB MLC 2001. The WebEx platform provides the ability for real-time data transfers, application sharing for on-going training, desktop sharing for support, plus marketing presentations to take place through the web browser. Maxagrid's integration of this web based platform into its existing support model offers a live interactive communications environment for Maxagrid's customers dispersed around the world.

By leveraging the WebEx communications platform, Maxagrid will integrate data, audio, visuals and telephony to provide an online meeting environment that simulates the full spontaneity of face-to-face meetings.

Maxagrid will offer the following capabilities:

• Application Sharing - enables Maxagrid to view and assist clients in real time with their copy of any Maxagrid application.
  
• Presentation Sharing - allows meeting participants to spontaneously share any presentation with group annotation and input capability.
  
• Document Sharing - allows meeting participants to jointly view any document or drawing independent of the software application.
  
• Web Co-Browsing- allows participants to co-navigate the Maxagrid web site and review the advantages of information rich areas.
  
• Desktop Remote Control - allows participants to control a remote desktop (permission must be granted).
  
• File Transfer - enables participants to transfer files between meeting participants for service or enhancement purposes.

This new platform will be available to existing clients of Maxagrid effective February 15 2001 Unlike old methods of installing software from disk or downloading, the WebEx experience requires a plug-in that is installed by clicking just one button.
