WebEx is entirely browser based and runs over the internet. The WebEx plug-in needs to be installed on each workstation that will access a virtual meeting. During the first attempt to access a meeting, the plug-in will be downloaded and installed automatically if not detected. During the installation process a consent dialogue will pop up asking to accept the "WebEx Meeting Client" distributed by WebEx Inc with authenticity verified by Thawte Server CA. This ensures that the plug-in is from WebEx and free of contamination. The plug-in does not modify or delete any files that are already on the system and works with I.E. and Netscape 4.x or higher. The WebEx client will also be included with all Advanced Revenue Management System service packs from S.P. 8 and higher. We are including the plug-in with the application install to ensure that the plug-in is installed with proper authority and that all customers are prepared to take advantage of this new opportunity. WebEx requires that cookies be enabled, and will check this feature during the installation.
